Brief Description: An ancient language of northern Anatolia. The language was quite similar to Hittite, and is known only from a few ritual and mythological texts written during Old Hittite times. The name of the language derives from the town of Palā (in the region called during classical times Paphlagonia). 2nd Millennium BC.
