Brief Description: "Sechelt is a Central Salish language spoken by members of the Sechelt Band on the north coast of the Straits of Georgia, British Columbia. Out of a total population of over 700 there are up to 45 speakers of varying degrees of fluency (only 15 fully fluent), the youngest in his 50s, with an additional 10 to 15 who can carry on limited conversations."
